Snow Beard

For the first time in awhile, we went to play at our old park. Aside from the big dent on the fence, everything else was the same. The park we go to now is fun but it's always more fun to play at the park you grew up going to. Bones and I ran around with Mommy and I managed to make myself a snow beard. The snow beard comes with every visit to the park and I like to think that it looks good on me.

Feeling Left Out

It sucks being the baby in the family. Today, Bones got to go to work with Daddy. I knew something was going on when I realized that Bones had his harness and shirt on and I was still running around the house naked. I am old enough to know that when this happens, something fishy is going on. Before I knew it, Daddy and Bones were out the door and I was left alone with Mommy and the vacuum. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with Mommy but I can't help but be jealous when Bones gets to go to Daddy's office.

I cried, I moped around the house with my best attempt at the act of doggy depression. Nothing worked and I was still at home. To forget about this feeling of neglect, I took a nap. I woke up to find Bones on the computer screen. We video chatted for a bit and then Mommy had to leave. That's right, everyone in my family left me to fend for myself!

Luckily everyone returned pretty soon after Mommy left. Apparently, Mommy had to go buy hamburger buns for dinner. The only part of the day worth mentioning? Daddy made us our own mini burgers for dinner!

Pug Exhaustion

This is from our thanksgiving vacation at the doggy hotel but I figured we might as well post it to show you how exhausting vacations can be! Hopefully Mommy will not be this tired when she comes home from her vacation.

Boys Week

It's just Daddy and us. We are on day 3 of our boys only week and already I have made a trip to the vet. I think we are living up to this manly week! I'm just glad Daddy is here!

Nails: CLIPPED

Nail clippings are the absolute worst! I can't recall ever having a good experience and usually it involves me screaming at the top of my lungs, sometimes pooping on the groomer and squirming as if my life depended on it. But when we went to Rogers Bark today, I decided to be more open minded. There's no point in fighting it because it is for my own good. Walking around with long nails is kind of painful and Mommy would never make me do anything to deliberately hurt me. So, I walked in, got my nails clipped in under two minutes. A word of advice to my dog friends: don't fight it! It's not as bad as you think it is.

Booties

After a long vacation at the doggy hotel, we took a vacation from vacation. You don't realize how great the comforts of home are until you can't be at home! Doggy hotel was fun because we got to play all day long with other dogs but we didn't have our bed with Mommy and Daddy to snuggle with, our couch to take naps on and there was no Mommy and Daddy to love us. Geordi and I really bonded during this vacation and we have learned that we need each other more than we'd like to admit.

Everything has returned to normal as Geordi and I are no longer snuggle buddies..oh, and winter is finally upon us! As you may remember from last year, I am a big fan of snow! The only bad thing about the snow is that we have to bundle up and wear booties. Ugh, those booties.

We tried hanging out in the snow without them but neither Geordi and I could make it around the block without being in pain. I assumed it would be time for the rubber booties I used last year but to my surprise, we got an upgrade! Our new booties have grip, they are warm and pretty stylish! This doesn't mean that I like wearing them but I don't have much of a choice. It takes Mommy a little bit longer to dress us before our morning walk but I just sleep and moan until she is finished. Before I know it, we are out the door and playing in the snow with pain-free paws.

All the dogs out there know how funny it feels when you first put the booties on. Apparently, it's entertaining for the parentals.
