Packing!

This morning we found ourselves surrounded by boxes. Everything inside the cabinet was out on the counter. And before we knew it, we were inside boxes! Holy dog biscuits, we're moving!?

Geordi and I walked into an unknown building and until we realized our couch was there, we thought we were visiting Uncle Joe and Aunt Courtney's house! We ran around and did a thorough inspection of this new place. It's not our house now, but I think it will be just as fun. The craziest part of our new house is this weird bathroom Mommy and Daddy have. We made sure to check it out for ourselves.

The best part of our new house? The window in Daddy's office and the kitchen is doggy-height! Geordi and I will be able to look out the window all day long!

Even though we are sad to be leaving our original home, we are only moving down the street. This means we won't have to part with our park or our friends in the neighborhood.

Daddy's Choice of Treats

The number one reason I love my Daddy:

HE BRINGS HOME THE BEST TREATS!

I love it when Daddy brings me home treats.
Even though I was a bad boy and tipped over the trash can (and ate everything i wanted), Daddy was nice enough to give us our newly bought treats. When we went to Charmer's for lunch, we were surprised with Bully Sticks! This was obviously Daddy's doing as Mommy complained about how nasty they looked. You can always tell apart the things Daddy buys for us: Manly, delicious and no concern for all that health junk!

Since we each got our own, Bones and I spent our time independent of each other. Bones was really in the zone with his chewing. He even carried it all the way home in his mouth and as we speak, he is laying in bed still chewing away.

I tried laying in different positions while chewing to maximize my efficiency. I learned that the easiest way to chew the Bully Stick is to have Mommy or Daddy hold it for me! But since I'm not a baby, I found other ways to make it work.

Since Bones carried his stick home, I tried to follow his example. But it was harder than he made it look and I dropped it here and there when I got tired of holding it. Luckily for me, Mommy carried it the rest of the way home.

Apparently today is Father's Day. Now that I know that we get Bully Sticks and lunch at Charmer's on Father's Day, it is officially my favorite day! Hopefully everyone is having a great Father's Day too.

Food

Goodbye EVO, Hello Orijen! I have been eating EVO dog food since I was a puppy. Because I am a picky eater and not so food oriented, I have tried a lot of different foods. We always came back to EVO because it was healthy, it tasted the best and it made my poop nice!

We found out today that our pet shop who specializes in healthy dog food no longer carried EVO! From what I understand, a big company called Proctor and Gamble bought out EVO and according to the lady at the store, EVO is now a changed brand.

It is sad to know that I will have to say goodbye to EVO but I am excited about our new food, Orijen. It contains no fillers and absolutely no grain! Which means that all the kibble I eat will contain nutrients that are good for my little pug body.

Mommy and Daddy went on a huge shopping extravaganza because when they returned, they brought home tons of goodies from The Hungry Pup! Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy were greeted by everything in the trash can being sprawled out all over the kitchen floor. I blame Geordi since we all know he tipped the trash can over but I would be lying if I said that I did not contribute (and indulge) after the trash can fell over. Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy were not happy and we did not get to explore the goodies they brought home until much later.

Not only did we eat tuna fish, peanut butter and pasta out of the trash, we were lucky enough to have our parents buy us peanut butter ice cream, beef sticks, new dog food and lots of new treats! Even though we probably didn't deserve it, this has been a great day! Believe it or not our luck didn't end there because when we walked to the street market in Evanston, Geordi and I found some tasty food on the ground!

Rain Day

There's nothing I love more than laying on the couch and playing with toys. Well, I suppose I like eating and napping a little bit more but playing with toys comes in at a close third. One day it's sunny but the next day it rains so there have been a few days this week where we have had to stay indoors. I don't mind too much since it can get pretty hot outside. Bones and I have been running around the house causing trouble and having a blast!

We have had a lot of visitors lately. All of our neighbor friends have been watching the hockey game at our house and this weekend I get to meet my great grandma from Missouri!
