Today's Agenda

Geordi's been sick so I will blog for us both. Usually I'm the one throwing up around the house but once Daddy and I had our sick moment last week, Geordi must have felt left out. You know Geordi isn't feeling like himself when he doesn't finish his food. If you know Geordi, you know he never does that. He must be feeling better because we are still wrestling and chasing each other throughout the house.

This time next week we will be getting ready to go to the doggy hotel. Mommy and Daddy are leaving us for Thanksgiving (boooohoooooo!!) but we will be romping around with our new friends all day and having slumber parties. I'm pretty excited.

Today is also daycamp day! I haven't been in months and I don't think Geordi's ever been. Hopefully some of my old friends are still there so we can catch up.

Birthday Boy!

Yes, that's me! Now that I am officially a year old, I have been reminiscing about my puppyhood. My breeder family sent Mommy these photos today and wished me a happy birthday on their website!

I am almost as big as Bones and weigh just as much as he does! If one thing hasn't changed since my puppy days, it is my love for food. How else would I have become a strong and handsome boy? With age comes a louder bark (it's always been much more manly than Bones' bark), more snuggling and better car riding skills! I still love to chit chat when I feel like speaking up and I am pretty vocal about other animals being on my TV screen!

As I mentioned before, Mommy got me a new toy for my birthday. I remember my friend Dodger having one. It dispenses treats but I haven't figured it out yet. To be honest, I find it to be kind of scary when it start wobbling around.

Mommy made me wear a stupid hat but I suppose I should have expected that. Luckily, my birthday hat wasn't as gigantic as the one Bones had to wear on his birthday. My birthday was great but Mommy, how come Bones got cake and I got pupcakes?

After the photos, I expressed my thoughts about birthday hats. Hopefully Mommy got the hint.

Geordi's 1st Birthday

Happy 1st Birthday to me! For my birthday I got an extra hour of sleep with the time change, pupcakes from Happy Husky Bakery, a new toy and a visit from my Aunt Courtney! We made a trip to the vet recently and found out that at the age of 1, I am weighing in at 18.3 pounds.

Nap Interrupted

Dig Out the Warm Clothes

It's already time to wear clothing? Boo! I love the crunchy leaves all over the ground but I do not enjoy putting on clothes. I know, I know- it will only get worse when winter rolls around but I was perfectly content with running around naked (plus my harness, of course). We spent our afternoon at Charmers chewing on our sticks and barking at people we didn't like. It got chilly at Charmers so I suppose it was a good thing Mommy made us wear our sweatshirts. Mommy, if you're reading this, you could at least buy me my own sweatshirt instead of making me wear hand-me-downs from Bones!

Daddy spent the entire time at Charmers grading papers. I'm no expert but I am pretty sure that he hated every minute of it.
