Two Weeks: Spooky Pooch Parade

I can't believe we are only two weeks away from Spooky Pooch Parade at the Chicago Botanical Gardens! Remember how much fun I had last year? I was actually still an only child then... hopefully I can show Geordi how it works and how much fun the Spooky Pooch Parade is!

Mommy still hasn't started on any type of Halloween costume so I am hoping, praying and crossing my paws that we will be costume-free this year! She already tried my old costume on Geordi but had no luck, we are both just too big for those baby costumes! Daddy wants Mommy to make us Batman and Robin costumes but neither one of them can agree on who should be Batman. As the older brother, it would only be fair that I be Batman, right?

Weekend Preview

From cold to hot, Chicago just can't make up its mind. We made it to the fall Pug Party but we were surprised at how hot it was! Details on our exciting weekend to come soon...

Tomorrow is the Pug Party at Zellas. Mommy isn't working this weekend so I think we will most likely be attending! We can't wait!!

October Treats

Isn't October wonderful? It is slightly colder than usual but there are leaves to chew on and Mommy and Daddy are coming home with lots and lots of fall goodies for us. The parentals left for a few hours to buy Blackhawks tickets (which also means they will be leaving us tonight) and stopped to buy us some Halloween cupcakes at Phoebe's and even made a trip to Wigglyville!

We tried something a little different today. Salmon sushi treats for us pups! Weird right? Since we are partially asian, it only made sense to one day try sushi. It was weird at first and both Bones and I spit the treat out of our mouths. We tried again and eventually we learned to enjoy our doggy sushi. Yum!

Mommy and I were shopping on Etsy when we saw something very familiar.

Those are our ID tags that Mommy had custom made for us. Apparently, they are cool enough to be an example of this person's work!

We're still here, don't worry! Planned on blogging this weekend but we had too many fun things to do.

Dear Daddy,

Aloha. Are you enjoying Hawaii? The day you left, I heard a lot of planes fly over the house. I'm pretty sure one of them was yours. Geordi and I are still trying to get used to video chatting with you but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. Mommy has been home a lot lately because of the holiday! We've been watching movies on the couch, reading, sleeping in and spending time at the park. Today's morning walk to the park was not so fun because I ate sticks and threw up. I didn't feel too great afterwards but I grossed out a lot of the kids that were standing around.

Now to discuss important matters...

What are you bringing home for me? Hopefully something fun, preferably something I can rip up and Hawaiian! I miss you and can't wait to see you outside of the video chatting world.
