Modeling

I know it's been awhile but we've been busy modeling for Mommy and Daddy's new camera. It feels like every second of our lives has been documented, mostly by Mommy of course. I don't mind the camera but Bones seems to have some issues with it. He looks scared in almost every single photo. Enough about him...

I actually like being Mommy's model. Don't I look handsome? Hopefully Mommy will put up some more photos of me around the house! I would be okay with an entire wall dedicated to me.

Now that I've shown off my modeling photos, I can move on to other topics. Mommy and Daddy have been making us sit in the backseat as of late. I would most definitely prefer the front since I get more fresh air but there's no arguing with the parentals. Hopefully they buy us a booster car seat soon so that we can look out the window without having to stand on our back legs (hint hint!!!).

How to Annoy Daddy

I know Bones was bragging about his chicken toy so I figured I would show everybody the toy that annoys Daddy. I think it's some sort of zebra but I am not positive. All i know is that it squeaks, it rolls and it drives Daddy absolutely nuts! Both Bones and I are very fond of it.

Chicken Walk

I feel like we don't credit Mommy enough. We are constantly telling everybody about the wonderful treats Daddy brings us but we forget that Mommy buys us the best toys! She was in California for over a week. And even though she was far away, she ordered us toys so that they would arrive while she was gone. Our package contained two things: A rooster and a platypus.

The rooster reminds me of my favorite holiday toy, the dreidel. Like the dreidel it makes lots of loud noises and annoys just about everybody. The rooster, who we call Chicken, is basically a sling shot. And when you sling the chicken by his head, it makes rooster sounds. I love this toy so much that I carry it during our walks. Mommy always hoped that I would be the type of dog that carried his toys around while walking and I am pretty certain that I have made her dreams come true.

Once I carry the Chicken to the park, I spend most of our park time swinging it around and beating him up. The bad thing about the Chicken is that we are not allowed to play with it in the house. It's pretty loud and I guess they don't want the neighbors to know how cool our new toy is.

The platypus is cool because the purpose of it is to dig out the platypus eggs (they squeak!!) from his belly. All of my toys end up being de-stuffed because I want to get to the squeaker. Mommy must have known how much I enjoy doing this because she bought me a toy where you are actually supposed to dig out the insides! Pretty awesome.

Once I get the platypus egg, I carry it around the house to show everybody what I have accomplished.

Jealous of my new toys? Mommy said they are available on Amazon.. wherever that is.

Lady Bug

Last week I found a strange bug in my house. Mommy told me that it was a lady bug and that they are good luck. I chased it around for awhile hoping that it would bring me lots of treats or something. I sniffed it, I poked at it but it just slowly ran away from me without performing any luck. The nice thing about this lady bug was that it let me follow him/her around without attacking or biting me. I think I will consider lady bugs my friends and they are always welcome at my house!

Almost Today.

Daddy it's almost midnight which means soon I can say that you're coming home today! I am so excited to see you, I don't know how I will sleep. Actually, I think I will sleep just fine since Geordi and I have been wrestling all day long. But you know what I mean right? In an attempt to protest you being gone this long I have decided to be a bad boy. I have been bothering Mommy all day and not listening to anything she tells me. Hurry up and come home otherwise I am going to drive Mommy crazy!

I have been sitting on the balcony for days now in hopes that it's the day you're coming home.

My plan is to sleep all day tomorrow so time will fly by and I will wake up to you being home. See you soon!

Geordi's Turn!

Hi Daddy!

It's Geordi. Sorry I haven't written in a few days but Bones was being a blog-hog. Today was kind of a weird day. I decided to start my morning out by spinning in circles in an attempt to catch my own tail. For some reason, my tail was really bothering me and I was pretty determined to catch it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be much harder than I expected. We went to the gated park by Fargo where I rolled over on the long grass. I met a big doberman that looked like a gigantic version of Dodger. The fact that he looked like Dodger made me want to chase him all over the park. And I did just that while Bones decided to be anti-social.

I'm feeling kind of crazy at the moment but it's probably because it is what you and Mommy call "crazy time." Are you coming home soon? I'm craving some good treats and I know we won't get any with just Mommy around. Hope you're having fun in the mountains.

Dear Daddy, Love Bones 2

Dear Daddy,

Will you be home in six days? That's what Mommy said. We went to the vet today because I had to get two vaccinations. I felt pretty poopy all day long and I can officially say that I hate getting shots. Luckily, after I get my rabies vaccination next Wednesday, I won't have to get the rabies shot for another three years! Mommy even carried me up the stairs today because I was too sore and woozy to walk up myself. I wish you were here to take care of me too.

The worst part of the day was when Mommy made us wear something she had bought earlier today.

Help us! Come home soon! Mommy is torturing us.. just kidding. But hurry home, we miss you!
