Happy Birthday Big Brother

Today we celebrated my big brother's birthday! We had a party and invited both our dog friends and our human friends. The best part of the party? Mommy let us eat things we usually don't get to eat! Running around all day was pretty exciting too but I felt pretty exhausted by the end of the party. Good thing Bones only turns one once... I can't handle too much partying.

Happy birthday big brother!

Pug Life is the Good Life

Pug life is good. We have been having so much fun lately! For example, Mommy and Daddy let us play with ice on the kitchen floor to help us cool down from the warm weather yesterday! Who else gets to do that?

If we aren't scooting ice on the kitchen floor, we are sitting and watching hockey with Daddy.

I don't know about all the other dogs out there but I love bath time! It is so relaxing and there is no better feeling than being clean! Geordi and I love bath time so much that we fight to determine who gets to go first!

Today we spent an hour at the park with Dodger. The neighborhood kids were still at school which meant we had the entire park to ourselves. Mommy bought me a new football at Petsmart today so I spent the majority of my time at the park playing with that. It is officially my new favorite toy! I love days like these..

We Live By the Lake?

I went to Lake Michigan! Apparently, we live three blocks from the lake? I can't believe Mommy and Daddy never told me this. There were tons of rocks everywhere and lots and lots of water! We lost a ball in the lake but Bones and I managed to have fun anyway.

It was super windy by the lake and it was really hard to look cute for Mommy's photos.

I can't wait to go back! If only the thunderstorms would stop..

Constant Fun

What a great week! As fun as it is to play in the snow, it's ten times better to play in the sun! The weather has been almost summer-like and we have all been taking advantage of it. Geordi and I have been playing at the park a lot and we have also started eating our meals on the balcony. The best part of the week was our beach day after Mommy came home from work! It was also Geordi's first time at the beach! I got sand all over my face as usual but Geordi did too. We played with some dog but he peed on Mommy's bag and then left. It was actually pretty funny!

We walked all the way back from the beach and went straight to the park. The fun continued as we chased each other and burned off the rest of our energy. I love it when Mommy doesn't have to work! With the weather warming up, I look forward to more fun adventures outdoors. Hopefully, my nose won't get sunburned like it did yesterday when we met Dodger at the park! Ouch.

By the way, I won the photo contest! Thank you soooooo much for helping me win!

Hello Spring, My Name is Geordi

Wow, I think winter may be over! The weather has been so nice and this means that Bones and I get to spend more time outside. We spend a lot of time at the park when Mommy and Daddy come home. Today we went out and even though it was dark, it was warm! Pretty crazy, right?

Being born in the late fall and early winter, the warm weather is pretty new to me. Bones was apparently a puppy when it was warm so he has been telling me all about what I can look forward to. It was pretty warm in the house today but I think I will like the warmer weather. Plus, we have been eating all of our meals on the balcony! Food, outside... it's everything I love!

Famous Dogs Revealed

I just realized that Geordi was signed into my account when he posted his blog. Anyway...

In November Mommy and I went to the dog park and I made some new friends. We found out that day that my new friends all had Daddy's who played for the Blackhawks. Ever since then, Mommy and I have been trying to figure out which one of my new friends belonged to which Blackhawks player. We were unsuccessful until Mommy and Daddy saw Walter and Shooter on television yesterday! Apparently Walter, who never played with the rest of the dogs and only sat on Mommy's lap belongs to Dustin Byfuglien. I have on idea who this is but apparently it means something to Mommy and Daddy. Shooter, the basset hound, belonged to some player named Patrick Sharp. Again, this means nothing to me. It was interesting to see my one time friends on television. How do I get on TV?

Has anybody read The Committed Indian? I think it is some Blackhawks thing because Daddy always bring a copy home from the games. I don't know what it says but I do know how fun it is to play with! I hope this makes Daddy proud.

Geordi's Week

The worst part of being a dog is having to go along with Daddy and (mostly) Mommy's often embarrassing ideas. For example:

Daddy wrapped the snake around both me and Bones and this triggered Mommy's need to capture cute moments on her camera. So there we were, not at all thrilled but going along with it to make Mommy happy.

We went to visit Dodger yesterday since his Daddy was away all day. It had been awhile since we had seen Dodger so we were all very excited. We chased each other around Dodger's house and wrestled on the couch. I think Dodger was shocked to see how big I had gotten.
