This has been the best year of my life. I was born in 2009, how could it not be a great year?
Because I was born, I made my way to Chicago where fate brought me, Mommy and Daddy together. It was this year that I became Leonard "Bones" McCoy-Royster and my life began.
This year, I introduced myself to my neighbor, Lake Michigan. Man, was I brave.
In 2009, I met my best toy friend, Pengii. Before he moved in with us, he lived at the Shedd Aquarium. He is my oldest friend and even though he has sustained some minor eye injuries, he never leaves my side.
In 2009, I left my closet-home and was allowed access to the rest of the house!
This year, I discovered my favorite couch pug-tato spot.

2009 marked my first L ride!

I eventually became a L-riding pro.

This year, I attended my first day of school..

..and graduated ten weeks later!

I made frequent trips to the vet..

..and with every visit to the doctor, my toy collection grew proportionally.

I discovered the magical season called fall. All of the green leaves magically changed colors and became super crunchy!

I dressed up as Frankenpug for my first Halloween

In 2009, I discovered the importance of making friends

I had my first taste of real peanut butter this year!

I attended my first pug meetup. There are tons of pugs in Chicago!

This year, I welcomed my first international friend. Haibo came all the way from Shanghai!

I also became a Blackhawks fan. I could blame Mommy and Daddy but the truth is, all of the dogs at the dog park are Blackhawks fans too. I really had no choice.

In 2009, I visited my great grandma in Missouri

I played in snow for the first time in my life!

I traveled on an airplane..

..and met a lot of my family in California.

I celebrated my first Christmas and unwrapped my first gift

But most importantly, in 2009 I became a part of a great family. I have a mommy who loves me and a daddy who is so great that I aspire to be like him in every way.

Welcome 2010...

Welcome 2010...
So I only read a few captions but I am going to judge, yes thats right I am going to judge, the whole post on those select few; here goes:
ReplyDeleteHow could 2009 be the best year of his life? What if one day Bones gets married? I hear that can be the best day, or year, of your life. He can also have someone declare that he is the father of some illegitimate children (remember you are in Springer country) and he is cleared of those allegation. That sounds like it is a pretty good year to me.
Next all his trip to the vet. His "toy" collection looks like that of a collection of pill bottles an old jewish man might keep in remembrance of his doctor visits.
I thank you Meesa Justin and Bones for providing me with all the laughs and random pictures for me to make jokes that entertain me, and only me, for hours on end. Keeps it coming.
Oh and you guys can get real hockey stuff at http://kings.nhl.com/ (yeah)
