Dog Beach

Today we went to dog beach. Aunt Courtney had been talking about dog beach non-stop so I figured it was only a matter of time before we got to go. When we first arrived at the beach, it looked just like any other beach. But to my surprise, behind the gate was doggy paradise!

This beach is literally a beach for us dogs. Nobody has to be on a leash and we are free to roam, meet new friends and jump in the water. I have put my paws in the lake before but today, I did something I never expected. I jumped in and spent the majority of our time splashing around in water up to my neck.

I was definitely afraid at first but I looked around to find all the other dogs going in the water and decided to join in on the fun. I am so happy that I did because it was a warm day and the lake felt really good! All the big dogs ran in pretty far but considering how small I am, I went pretty far too.

Our time at the dog beach went by really fast but I cannot wait to go back! Hopefully next time, Daddy and Uncle Joe will also come with us. I think Daddy would be really proud of me.

Today turned out to be a great day! Geordi and I are both exhausted and have been taking naps all day long. To add to our already great day, Daddy grilled meat just for us to eat! I wish everyday was this good..
